Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) Committee

 
The Indiana PACE committee represents social workers in state and local elections
and builds grassroots networks through member political education and mobilization. PACE endorses state and local candidates and collaborates with the national PACE
unit during federal elections

Membership on the Indiana PACE committee is non-elected, but
committee members are approved by the Chapter Board of Directors.
The Indiana Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) is the political action committee of the National Association of Social Workers-Indiana Chapter. PACE promotes political education and full participation in the electoral political process among members of the social work profession and fosters the participation of interested members to elect candidates who support NASW’s public policy goals. PACE is a bipartisan political action committee dedicated to advancing social workers’ goals in campaigns and elections.

 
 

How to Get Involved in NASW Leadership!  
 
  • Through the Indiana chapter you can volunteer for committees and task forces, write articles for the chapter's newsletter, help plan chapter events, serve on the chapter board, become a regional representative, and run for other offices. For more information, please contact us at naswin.naswin@socialworkers.org.
  • You can become active on the national level with NASW by getting involved in one of our national committees.
  • It is because of volunteers like you that we are able to deliver high quality programs and services to our members.
