Join NASW IN Region 9 during our June continuing education event, Eating Disorders: DSM-V and Beyond. Melissa Grinslade, MSW, LCSW will provide information about the prevalence of eating disorders, signs and symptoms of eating disorders, populations impacted by eating disorders, and eating disorder assessment tools.

Melissa Grinslade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master's degree in social work from Indiana University and her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University. Melissa is a seasoned clinician providing therapy to individuals, groups, families, and children. She is currently a staff counselor at Indiana State University providing therapy services to college students. She also oversees training for master's level practicum students, and responsible for coordinating outreach and group programming. Her professional experience includes working with children and families in community mental, residential treatment center, crisis assessment, and college counseling. Her professional interests include eating disorder treatment, early childhood trauma, and personality disorders. She also enjoys program develop, training, and expressive arts work. Melissa has several certifications for yoga training, including Yoga for Mental Health, and uses her skills to develop expressive interventions on her college campus.
