Scholarships for Conference Fees

If you are an Indiana resident looking for a means to help finance conference fees, the Indiana Youth Institute (IYI) is a great resource.  You can apply for up to $750 per person in each fiscal year (July 1-June 30).  The application process involves answering basic questions about how you will use the funds. IYI's Professional Development Grants cover conference registration fees, trainings, or workshops. These grants could also pay hotel room costs for out-of-state conferences and mileage for out-of-county workshops.  Click here to visit their web site for qualification and application information.

The NEA Foundation for the Improvement of Education (NFIE) awards grants to teachers, education support professionals, and higher education faculty and staff to engage in high-quality professional development.  Visit their website at http://www.nfie.org/.
