 Continuing Education is a lifetime ethical commitment to best practice which
social workers make to themselves and their clients.
 
 
**LCSWs, LSWs, LMFTs, LMHCs:
These workshops are approved for the indicated amount of CEH’s for LSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LMHCs through NASW - Indiana Chapter.  The Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Mental Health Counselor Licensure Board has approved NASW to provide Category I Continuing Education for LSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LMHCs.  Additionally, where indicated, these workshops have also been approved by NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC Approved Education Provider #525) and Certification Renewal Units (CRU's) for educators (Indiana Professional Standards Board Sponsor #9935).  However, licensees must judge the program’s relevance to their professional practice.

IYI's Professional Development Grants provide up to $750 for youth workers, educators and youth ministers to attend national conferences, regional workshops, local trainings and even college courses.
