LEAD Intensive Training Days for 2017
Our newest effort in making LEAD a truly year-round effort for engaging students in policy and  advocacy work, the LEAD Intensive Training days consist of groups of students spending the morning at the NASW Indiana offices receiving training and guidance specific to activities currently ongoing for the current Indiana legislative session.
They will be trained on where to be, what to watch and who to talk to on issues that NASW Indiana is tracking on behalf of our members. The afternoon will focus on applying that knowledge in the most hands-on manner possible as we head over to the Indiana Statehouse to actively create change.  Individuals as well as classes are welcome to attend, but space is limited. See below for dates, and if your school or program has already reserved a date:

FULL - Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 - IUPUI Campus Center Auditorium - Indianapolis

FULL - Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 - NASW Office - Indianapolis

FULL - Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 - NASW Office - Indianapolis

  • Promote social justice by facilitating Indiana social workers maximum participation in the legislative process.
